Afl Wednesday night WHITEWASH!
Ladies and gentlemen, members and guests, boys and girls, pets.... ahem...and afl supporters. I feel something very special is about to happen in Australian sport. I believe we may be about to witness a ‘first ever of its kind’ for any professional sporting organisation in Australian history.
It’s the afl, they’re putting another two teams together and this time it’s on a Wednesday night. The special record they’re aiming for is to produce six days of shithouse lopsided games within one week. Yes that’s right the afl is lining up for six days out of seven full of shithouse competitions between the best elite teams the organisation can muster.
I urge all members and guests to set their alarms for approx 9:25pm aest when the final siren will ring to check their devices for the final score between Richmond who seem to be beginning to find their form and ...perennial tanksters, the team that tanks it like it’s 1999, the living breathing illustration of what’s gone wrong with the afls expansion , Melbs who are currently sitting pretty on the afl ladder at 17th.
This is history in the making folks, set those alarms! Can’t wait!

Re: Afl Wednesday night WHITEWASH!
Actually my apologies. Correction - set your alarms for more like 10pm aest. 9:30 and you’ll likely be witness to the fourth quarter, which may well be coma inducing.

Re: Afl Wednesday night WHITEWASH!
Members and guests, ladies and gentlemen, and the Afl bubble boys of talking footy, the question I pose to you on this momentous of days is thusly:
How many quarters of tonight’s match will the game remain in the balance for ? The evidence suggests that afl matches, on avg, only produce three quarters where both teams look competitive out there on the field. It’s a bad average and very often it’s much worse than three quarters.
So please, consider the evidence and think it through and if you get the chance let us all know your thoughts before this special Wednesday event takes place

Couldnt agree more KEKing-Eliagh wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 12:09 pmMembers and guests, ladies and gentlemen, and our superior AFL members, I know nothing about AFL but pretend I do. I often incorrectly predict one-sided floggings in the AFL while ignoring such floggings also occur in the NRL with regular frequency. I am a dickhead

True this time.
It was silly to insinuate that you'd say something so accurate.

I hope you're finding these posts as annoying and irrelevant as yours. If so, mission accomplished

Re: Afl Wednesday night WHITEWASH!
They are kinda fun because they show you can’t engage on a meaningful level. Deep down you know the afl’s Issues with lopsided shit house games is not irrelevant at all. Rules have been changed, funding head honchos have spoken, media have had field days (remember dear nlol it wasn’t me who coined the term ‘Afl Friday night fizzer’
My posts are always relevant, and in the context of public knowledge so it’s a shame they make you quite uncomfortable to the point you feel the need to edit them
So Comon now nlol, join in and tell us ur prediction. How long will tonight’s game be competitive?
Or alternatively, if it makes you feel more comfy, you can give cats Steve another ‘like’

Re: Afl Wednesday night WHITEWASH!
Your calling me ignorant Again, I’m not the one who coined “the Afl Friday night fizzer!” Well paid journalists reported on that based on the evidence at hand. And many many Afl fans outside the bubble agreed. I’m not the mammothly paid channel seven boss who suggested the Afl blowouts were bad for business and that there’s a need for rule changes.
So yeah, basically there’s shitloads of people who understand the afls blowouts aren’t a good look. Even Afl loving people and senior reps. So nlol my dear friend, once again it’s actually you who is the ignorant one.
Now common! Get out of that bubble, get on topic and give us ur prediction for how long tonight’s game will be competitive!!
Or kindly pisssssss orrrrrf outta my thread

Just as I said https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/amp.smh ... 1ihkg.htmlThe AFL has warned the worrying trend of one-sided matches could increase next year as a result of the competition's expansion.
