Even though some of the Gather Round games were played at very small venues, the AFL still beat the Thugby for crowd attendances!
Great crowds despite some smaller venues.

Surprisingly reasonable crowd tonight at the Suns game- against a generally low drawing Haawthorn. Very surprised. Also for those playing at home - seems a majority Suns crowd but plenty of hawks supporters - but easily outnumbered by suns colours - lots of neutral (no colours) like me.

turd polishing there

it was average at best for a team thats off to their best start in years against a team from Vicdumbo who provided a lot more fans then you're letting on

The Titans could well be 0-6 after today & will probably do better next week against Manly.

Was wondering the crowd ; not too bad and heavily a suns crowd. Suns looking good - their new players coming through are pretty good with Cholesy the gun standout. Future looks bright.

about that many watched that game on TV in Sydney tho , about 1 / 3rd of the number that watched the NRL in Sydney on Sunday

drugsafehouseball a niche sport
apart from the ex pat derps at the ground , hardly anyone in sydney cares about singlets & fumbles

Meanwhile the NRL will post the biggest domestic H&A crowd of the year for any code in Sydney this Thursday at a sold out Allianz when around 42,000 will attend the Dragons V Roosters game.

2023 was a record year for crowds in the NRL & 2024 is on track to set another record

case in point here
these figures are dire ... simply... shockingly bad for the fumbling game

Suns , their best start to a season ... ever
crowd 13,900 at their last home game

Titans , their worst start to a season ... ever
0-7
crowd 13,336 at their last home game

what battle of the gold coast ?
