Shocking game, 11.5 minutes of ball play is an absolute joke.
NFL is entrenched as a national sport only because it is a multi multi billion dollar commercial enterprise, not because it is a worthy game.
It's quite sad that such a progressive country tolerates such a backward sport.
It is still marginally better than RL but RU and AFL would cream it.

I don't think anyone into AFL should be calling another sport backwards.
You guys give points for missing and drop the ball constantly. As well as not even playing on a real football field.

AFL is not even a real football code to be honest.

I honestly do not see AFL as a real football code. It is more of a hybrid code trying to copy lots of other sports.
Real football codes have 2 goals not 6.
Real football codes are played on a rectangular ground not an oval one.
Real football codes have a cross bar on their goals.
Real football codes don't have their players dressed like a woman's netball team.
Real football codes don't rewards a point for missing a shot at goal.

You see the evidence is all there. AFL is not a real football code.
