Well it's pretty simple pal. The crowd against GWS was the lowest in 5 years. That's a 'falling'' level of support. If you want to argue AFL v NRL crowds go to the crowds thread. Not relevant here. This is about Sydney AFL.

Lol what dont you get about the afl through COLA ( legalised cheating) made sure the Swans were successful to get as much support as possible .
So when cola is finished & they're NOT successful crowds drop ..
When afl house was giving them 900k extra to ensure their success the crowds came .

I dont get how you can attirbute their success to a 10% increase in salary cap when clubs perform on a massively different level for season after season with THE SAME salary cap.

and none of the nrlol clubs with all their success have come close to what the swans have achieved! busted the myth that sydney people do not turn up & the storm have proven melbourne people do not turn up to everything!

Wrong again pal. This is about the decline of the Swans as compared to their own performances on the field, crowds, and general support. It's not about comparing different codes in crowds.
I could easily compare the Swans tv ratings in Sydney against every Sydney NRL team and they would be stone motherless last year on year. But I choose not to compare that here because it's not relevant.
I am solely comparing the performance of the Swans against their own benchmarks in previous years. Simple. Get it pal? No! Didn't think so. A good deflection is always handy when you're losing the argument.

It's called context pal. While the swans will suffer an inevitable decrease in following during lean seasons their position in Sydney is still very much relevant.
