Provide a link. A direct link, here.
I am not reventing the wheel for every ignorant newcomer.
And I am certainly am not discussing evry single country.
And I am certainly not discussing the bleeding obvious.
If you don't know about NZ then you are very very very ignorant of Australian Football overseas.
There are a huge number of links in the International section.
There are a huge number of links and discussion about NZ there.
Start there before wasting my time here.
So in other words you cant back up your claims..
Well slackers, why not start here
http://aflnz.co.nz/
I'll await your communication.
Thank you for that final assist, AFLcrap1. Finally, Cos789 decides to be responsible and gives us a link where the claim is made, instead of being a "slacker" to use his term.
Dogs, you should have looked under the "Play AFL" menu. There are seven clubs listed, so it's not just AFL 9's (which does count because Rugby League 9's also counts) and KiwiKik (which doesn't count as it's the same as Auskick). So it's played there at least. Not much though. Seven clubs in a country of well over 4 million so close to Australia is rather poor don't you think?
Crackers click a little further in by selecting one of those seven clubs as I did last night. I am struggling to see anything that is not register for kiwikick or AFL 9's for juniors or opens. You can further validate by clicking the fees tab. This is nothing more then AFL's attempt at creating a Touch Footy competition, not AFL.

Starting October 7th, Mondays 5.30-9pm(different start time to other venues)AFL KiwiKick: 5.30 – 6.30
AFL 9s 12-14, 14-17: 6.00 – 7.00
Open Grade: 6.30 – 9.00 (fees suggest this is a 9's comp)
If you go to the rules it suggest the following:
- it is 9 players per side played for 2 * 20mins or 4 * 10mins
- If a player in possession has had prior opportunity to dispose of the ball and is
touched, a turnover will be awarded. This is AFL's equivalent to Touch Football
So a AFL version of touch footy is played and these guys want us to believe AFL is play in NZ. This is not AFL where there is normally 18 player on the game and full contact. Good growth strategy, that I would agree with.
I have not been on here for a while as I get sick of the AFL contradicting themselves. I don't know how many times I have seen them try to say SOO is not to be counted as part of RL in attendance, tv viewers etc. I also seen another thread on this forum that is talking about Touch Footy which the AFL supporters are suggesting is not RL, but then try to say Auskick and 9's competitions are part of AFL numbers.
If there is somewhere on the site that I am missing, then please point it out. But I would have thought that by selecting where I can play and then the club, this would have provided the competition.
