well League did start in england, over 100 plus years ago, and it hasn't really progressed, as it is only still a minor sport there & countries it is played. Aswell when you consider it is only played in countries where Union is strong, so it rides of the back of the success of union. simple people grew up with union, but are to stupid to understand so league is the answer

Look RL is a great sport, I prefer if over Union - just because it it's our preferred code doesn't mean it has no place or something wrong with it. Traditionally it was the sport of the working class and there is a lot to be admired about its connection with everybody (in NSW and QLD) - IMO I can't see Union surviving in Australia - there just isn't enough interest and were awful at it!
