I dare you say to all the participants in the International Cup that it's for "s.hits & giggles". You'd get slaughtered!

If RL was so serious and popular it would be in more countries that it is. But it's not. You're limiting your horizons and that's not a good thing. That's a bad thing. That's why this pro argument doesn't work.

So international RL kicks international AR where the sun dont shine. More participants, crowds and professional comps says it all really. By nsw and cos's explanations the wealth of amateur RL clubs in western nsw are grounds to state that RL in this region is bigger than the AFL

I've never used the term before but Derp seems so appropriate for you gents sometimes  :D

Who funds those international cuppers to get here? I'll bet they come via private jet! All in their suits with their sponsors tags all over the place. Who puts them up for accom, these international cuppers? I'll bet its at the hilton or the crown casino, where they are swooned upon by the local ladies.

Comon nsw, lets get real here, its for s.hits and giggles

nothing more then a singlet wearing convention for fumbling spaz's not good enough to play a real sport at home

If AR was even the slightest bit popular anywhere other then Australia , it would have at least exported itself to somewhere .. where its played at least half seriously

ask the 90,000 at Wembley for the RL challenge cup final if they're there for a sausage sizzle ?
end of debate

Listen to the crowd on the goals. That's numbers!

This is the IC 2011 grand final - at the MCG.

ah.... it was on before an AFL game

not one person there ... was there for the IC final

if it had been played as a stand alone game elsewhere .... it would have attracted 46 paying fans & been filmed on a hand held cam corder

the 2008 RL World cup Final was played before a sellout 52,500 .... paying spectators & by nearly 2 million on Tv in Aust

You weren't listening to the crowd were you, Dunce? And what has basketball got to do with anything?

Hey Dunce, who needs suits to be passionate? The more you talk the less knowledge you show of AFL. No one wears a suit in the Central West in either AFL or RL!

So what about
So we have Australian Football greater than rl in Andorra, Austria, Argentna, Bahrain, Borneo, Brunei, Brazil, Cambodia, Cambodia,Canada, Croatia, China, East Timor, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Iceland, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Nauru, Oman, Pakistan, Philllippines, Portugal, Qatar, RSA, Sweden, Switzerand, USA and Vanuatu by the looks.

Then there's GB now England, Scotland and Wales, Ireland, Italy, France, Catalunya ,Czech Rep, Samoa, Tonga, Solomons, Spain, PNG and NZ playing AF.
