The point of the original post was to suggest that there must be
an off season for cricket ovals in India especially in the north, and therefore
an opportunity for AR to find a place on them. Indian businessmen
are just as smart as any others.

AS Laniger understands it, in soccer a team can be awarded a goal if the ball
bounces of the.. err ...arse of an opposing team member. Is that true?

It will come down to money, as usual. There must be on off season for use of the ovals.
Set up a competition, four teams, one city, teams play in rotation for three matches,
Repeat through the season, finals, Grand Final. Result.....revenue for the promoters.

It is passing strange why the rugby mob would try to expand overseas.
Expanding to South Australia was beyond them. The Croweaters are
immune to such an infection. The Adelaide Rams was an attempt that
